37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - GBP21,138 per annum
We have a wonderful opportunity for a full time HR Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at our Blackheath Centre, providing comprehensive and confidential HR administrative support role to the Hospital Director, Managers and staff.
Blackheath is a 36 bed centre providing specialist person-centred rehabilitation, care and support for adults with either a brain injury or other complex neurological condition. We provide comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and therapy and specialise in the treatment of patients with a primary cognitive or behavioural impairment resulting from a brain injury or other neurological condition.
As HR Assistant you will:
Have a CIPD qualification or relevant experience in HR
Experience of the health and care sector desirable but not essential
Maintain the HR information system on a daily basis to ensure accurate reporting of information as and when required
Provide confidential administrator support, preparing all correspondence for a wide range of HR matters
Maintain unit systems to ensure all compliance checks are completed and any issues are raised in a timely manner
Provide accurate minutes for disciplinary/grievance and investigation meetings
Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of all documentation relating to staff holidays, sickness and absences
Ensure all staff are compliant with supervision and appraisals
Support with the recruitment and induction of new staff
Arrange staff meetings on an individual or group basis as advised / requested
