HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Mainstay are proud to be recruiting permanent night HGV class 1 drivers for our new blue-chip client based in the Droitwich area. The client are a worldwide brand with multiple UK sites and are looking for an additional 10 night drivers. Experienced drivers would be preferred, new pass drivers will be considered.

This role would involve either trunking work or cage delivery of dairy products to large stores. Drivers need to show flexibility to switch between roles when necessary. If trunking, the driver will park on a bay and be unloaded, if carrying out store deliveries there are usually 4-5 drops involving some empty cage collection.

Flexible shift patterns are available to suit all lifestyles and start times are between 20:00 and 00:00. The client offers stable start times to ensure that you can settle into routine.

Salary:

Monday - Friday = GBP16 per hour (GBP18 including holiday pay)
O/T after 47.5 hours = GBP18 per hour (GBP20 including holiday pay)
Saturday = GBP18 per hour (GBP20 including holiday pay)
Sunday = GBP24 per hour (GBP26 per hour including holiday pay)

Full time contracted hours = 47.5, salary can be in excess of GBP50,000 per annum.
