An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to join a beautiful chocolate box thatched 53-bed hotel on the edge of the New Forest. Along with a competitive hourly salary, you will also receive an annual bonus, enrolment into the development scheme, annual team party, discounted food whilst on duty and friends and family discounts.
Their guests range from business travellers to families off to Peppa Pig world and everything in between. They have a lovely restaurant and have the pleasure of hosting many weddings, parties, and business events throughout the year.
This is a part-time or full-time role.
As Housekeeping Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms, on departure and during stays
Ensuring the standard of general front of house and public areas cleanliness is impeccable
Supervising laundry deliveries and laundry counts
Responding to guest requests and enquiries
Reporting any technical or maintenance issues
Ensure compliance to hotel safety and security
Passing on suggestions from guests for any improvements that could be made.
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
You will be an experienced housekeeper looking for their first senior position or a supervisor from a smaller property looking to spread their wings a bit more.
You will have an excellent can-do attitude.
You will be a natural coach, encouraging your team members to help them be the best they can be.
You are committed to your own personal development and want to go far (we can help with that).
Flexibility with working hours (some weekend working is required)
Your own transport would be an advantage, due to the location of the Hotel.
Low-cost, live-in accommodation is possible.
