An exciting Stock Control Supervisor opportunity to join a global Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain business based in Corby. The role benefits from an excellent salary of GBP27,000 with sociable working hours of 08:30-17:30 working Monday to Friday.

Description
The Stock Control Supervisor role in Corby will involve:
Overseeing the activity of stock management, ensuring stock integrity is achieved and maintained.
Overseeing the tracking of stock movements to achieve optimum stock levels.
Monitoring stock levels across all warehouses in line with supply and demand forecasts.
Placing orders as required to maintain stock levels.
Co-ordinating regular inventory audits.
Completion of related administrative tasks according to set company procedures.
Conforming and ensure all Company policies regarding Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality, and good working practices are being adhered to.
Attending regular communication/awareness sessions.
Profile
The successful Stock Control Supervisor will have:
A good level of communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous stock control experience, preferably in warehousing or manufacturing.
3PL experience.
Good IT skills, WMS, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
A good level of numeracy and literacy and attention to detail.
Good level of health and safety knowledge.
Analytical and problem solving ability.
The Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve through a logical approach.
