We are looking for a passionate Part Time Careers Advisor to offer support to students in a prestigious school based in Enfield.

Working alongside the Assistant Headteacher, you will join the administrative team to deliver the school s career programme, enabling students in Year 10 and 12 reach their full potential and realise their ambitions!

Hours - 21 flexible hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

Key Responsibilities:

Embed a programme of career education and guidance that is known and understood by students, parents, teachers and governors.

Support teaching staff and tutors in providing careers programme and resources and arrange for the careers programme to be published on the website.

Regularly evaluate the programme based on feedback from students, parents, teachers and employers.

Provide 1:1 careers guidance for students on request and hold 1:1 student interviews to assist students with action planning following their careers interview.

Support the preparation of an annual improvement plan for careers work to contribute to the school development plan.

Liaise with relevant external agencies including employers, further and higher education providers, careers advice agencies and training providers.

Maintain and develop a comprehensive, up-to-date and accessible provision of careers information.

Monitor student destinations on leaving both schools, track, record and report this data.

Support students in the writing of CVs and UCAS personal statements, and applications to college.

Organise an annual careers fair within the school calendar.

Support with the delivery of the school s work experience programme, liaising with appropriate external agencies and employers as needed.

Ability to prioritise and escalate queries effectively in order to deliver on objectives
