Assistant Manager:
The FSK Team is expanding! It is such an exciting time with a huge amount of potential for people who want to be part of our expansion journey, have their ideas listened too, implemented, and watch them grow.
We will be moving into a bigger site that needs a Manager and Assistant Manager to lead it.
Being a small independent company, every employee is an integral part to the team and is valued. Training is provided where required and we will support along with guide you but please only apply if you have a serious respect for health & hygiene.
The ideal Assistant Manager is happy to work weekdays, weekends along with evening shifts, but we are flexible with days needed off and genuinely want our staff to have a decent work life balance so we work all rotas around that where possible.
As a company we make everything fresh where we can, source local produce, have fun, give back to our customers all while making impressive food, so we need a motivated all-rounder that takes pride in their work, has a passion for food along with enjoying managing and motivating people.
The whole business is growing, the restaurant, events company, and our corporate solutions arm, therefore this position offers great opportunities for those with the right level of passion and commitment, who want to progress, push the business with us and earn more through helping us hit our goals.

Essential Skills
Reliable along with excellent punctuality.
Organised with the ability to multitask.

Previous catering experience.
High attention to detail.
Professional and trustworthy.
High level of personal hygiene (ideally Level 3 catering).
Has an excellent understanding of taste and passion for cooking.
Ability to build relationships and resolve conflict within a team.
Assistant Manager Position:
Working with the restaurant owners and management team to deliver targets, watch over GP and enforce company policies.
Supervise others and highlight areas that are being completed well or need improvement.
Deliver excellent customer service.
Be able to delegate but also have a hands-on approach.
Total accountability when working, hands on manager to take control of day-to-day operations.
Set an example to the team and work to the highest standard.
"Run it like your own" mentality
Ensure all record books are kept up to date.
Stock check what is needed from suppliers and create lists.
Prepare, cook, and present amazing food in accordance with brand standards.
Creativity to plan the weekly menu with Chefs
Passion for training and development, both personally and within the team - setting clear and direct goals.
Responsible for the discipline and grievances in accordance with the company policies
Be able to manage time efficiently and effectively to get the best results.
Ideally you must have a driving licence to apply for this position and your own transport
Rate: Circa GBP18,000 - GBP23,000 per annum as a starting point dependant on experience (opportunity to progress is real and easy to achieve with the right work ethic.) Share scheme also available.
Type: Full time position
Location: predominantly Basingstoke Town Centre.
Start date: ASAP, ideally immediately.
