Fel Rheolwr Gwella a Datblygu, byddwch yn goruchwylio newidiadau a diweddariadau i wella gwasanaethau a staff Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru.

Yn benodol, byddwch yn cynllunio ac yn rheoli adnoddau i fodloni cynlluniau gweithredu y cytunwyd arnynt ar gyfer strategaeth y gweithlu iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol. Byddwch yn sicrhau bod gan gynlluniau newydd ddigon o adnoddau, wrth asesu aliniad strategol ac effeithlonrwydd cynlluniau cyfredol.

At Social Care Wales, we provide national leadership and expertise in social care and early years in Wales.

Our vision is to make a positive difference to care and support for children, adults and their families and carers.

To do this, we lead on developing and regulating the social care workforce, service improvement, data and research to improve care.

We are currently seeking an Improvement and Development Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As the Improvement and Development Manager, you will oversee changes and updates to enhance the services and staff of Social Care Wales.

Specifically, you will plan and manage resources to meet agreed implementation plans for the health and social care workforce strategy. You will ensure new plans are adequately resourced, whilst assessing the strategic alignment and efficiency of current plans.

About You

To be considered as the Improvement and Development Manager, you will need:

- Experience of developing implementation and delivery plans
- Experience of leading, managing and developing multiple areas of work
- Experience of developing programmes of engagements
- Experience of managing a portfolio of projects to meet targets
- Knowledge of models of service improvement and workforce development
- Knowledge of new legislation, policy and practice and their application in Wales
- The ability to use data to inform decision making and recommendations    
- Knowledge of evaluation methods for measuring project impact
- Confidence in using MS office and working digitally

Ideally, you will have experience of developing workforce plans and specialist knowledge of approaches to workforce planning.

The closing date for this role is 31st August 2022, with interviews to be held on 23rd September.
