The primary interface between Engineering design and the manufacture and test of the products key to the design, manufacture and test of the products, evolving developing test strategies and test equipment that enable repeatable product manufacturing in accordance with design and customer order requirements.

Description
The key responsibilities are:
Develop the test strategy and road-map for products.
Develop ATE as the primary tool for the testing of PCB and box units at sites and suppliers.
Ensure that designated tests for products are sufficient, functional and cost effective.
Identify methods of improving test coverage to improve yields and debug of PCBA's.
Work with the engineering team on Design for Test during New Product Introduction.
Involvement in the continuous improvement initiatives within the test area.
Coordination and support assistance for subcontractors test requirements.Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
An understanding of the end to end manufacturing processes within an electro mechanical assembly environment.
A background of electronic ATE test equipment (design, manufacture and commissioning).
An understanding of PCBA testing methodologies, background of RF testing.
An understanding of MRP and material planning techniques.
Preparedness to undergo UK Security Clearance.
Been a resident for 5 years.
An electronics background.Job Offer
