An excellent opportunity has arisen with a North West Leicester Electronics firm with an incredible reputation and long standing ties to the local area, due to an increase in orders and company expansion, they now require a number of experienced PCB Technician to support their own growth.

Training The Role of PCB Technician
Following the production schedule, relevant drawings and work instruction (QAI), add
PTH components to PCBAs, completing jobs in a reasonable timeframe
Gather all necessary components as detailed in provided drawings and identify correctly before placing onto a board
Assemble one board by 'tagging' components in and request a 1 st Off check to confirm board is correct to customer requirements
Following 1 st Off approval, fully solder all components to the boards, ensuring all subsequent boards match the 1 st Off board
Prepare PCBs for selective soldering and operate selective solder machine
Rework any boards identified as non-conforming through the AOI, Test, 2nd Stage or Final Inspection process, recording work performed by board serial number
For AOI failures, the electronic rework station must be used to confirm rework performed
All other rework will be identified with a yellow arrow, manually record the defect and rectification activity by board serial number
If the rework activity is complex, a rework drawing can be requested from a team leader or the quality team
Complete work in line with production schedule priorities, as advised by a team leader or managerThe Right PCB Technician
Experience of PCB manufacturing
Soldering to IPC standards
Used to working with small batch assembly
Able to identify components easily
