L&D Manager Permanent Nottingham GBP30,000 GBP35,000
Cherry Professional are working with a well-established client in the Nottinghamshire area to recruit a Learning and Development Manager due to accelerated growth in the business. You ll be responsible for identifying, developing and delivering suitable learning solutions to drive company performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development of L&D policies, processes and systems.
Partner with subject matter experts, department heads and other stakeholders, using a performance consulting approach, to identify learning requirements.
Work with the Retail Director to develop and roll out training to all stores and colleagues.
Work with the Head of HR to design and deliver team leadership and management development solutions.
Support with the roll out of the E-Learning tool and be a superuser of the in-house systems.
Apply best in class instructional design methods to writing material/programs throughout the business.
Carry out training for all levels of management within the company.
Responsible for the full L&D cycle.
Support the Induction Programme for all new starters.
Ensure the effectiveness of training, meeting needs of stakeholders in the operational environment.
Regularly research and conduct best practice reviews, looking at learning and development.
Ideal Candidate:
Have a real passion for training, bringing high levels of energy and commitment to the role.
Previous experience in L&D is essential but not necessarily at a management level.
Experience in the retail industry is desirable.
Ability to persuade, encourage and elicit cooperation across stakeholders, partners and delegates.
Strong organisational, influencing and people management skills.
Has a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
Be a positive, supportive and flexible team player.
Desirable Industry recognised L&D professional qualifications (AET / PTLLS / CIPD Level 3 or equivalent/above) in the provision of training, HR or/and learning and development.
