Production Manager
Would you like to work for a luxury travel lifestyle brand that s produces handcrafted luggage and leather collections? Our clients are based in Hoddesdon and have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Manager.
All our suitcases and travel accessories are handcrafted in our Hoddesdon Factory using original manufacturing methods and machinery that date back to the Victorian era.
Our bespoke products are then shipped to destinations around the world.
We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee our assembly team. This is an highly important role within the team working closely with the Head of Production and other Production Managers to in order hit production demands. This role oversees a team of Line Managers who have around 30 direct reports.
It is an exciting time to be joining the business as we are undertaking a period of growth and development!
Ideal candidate:
Worked in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience of running an assembly line
Previous experience of leading a team
Work study knowledge of manufacturing principles
Able to contribute to improvements in efficiency and productivity
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to work to tight deadlines
Strong computer literacy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Able to work independently
