Client Details

An excellent opportunity for an experience Facilities Manager to join a third party logistics company based near Derby. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance and security of a large distribution centre. This is a modern facility, therefore any experience with automation would be highly beneficial.

Description

Reporting to the Site General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing site maintenance, health & safety and security for a large distribution centre near Derby. You will manage a variety of directly employed staff and external contractors, ensuring the site is well maintained, compliant, clean and secure.

Profile

Previous facilities management experience within a warehouse / transport operation
NEBOSH Qualified
Knowledge of manual handling equipment (MHE)
Operational knowledge and application of current Health & Safety, Environmental legislation, Quality Assurance controls and COSHH requirements.
Experience of managing facilities projects relating to hard and soft service
Experience managing internal operatives and external contractorsJob Offer

Up to GBP48,000 annual salary
