Trainee HGV Technician / Mechanic
Job Title - Trainee HGV Technician / Mechanic
Salary - up to GBP35'000 per annum + Overtime
Location - Peterborough
I am currently working with a commercial vehicle workshop who are now looking to expand their team and have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee HGV Technician / Mechanic.
My client is a multinational vehicle manufacturer who are offering the unique opportunity for an experienced Light Vehicle Technician to join their team and train as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
Trainee HGV Technician / Mechanic job role:
Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
Road test vehicle when required (if holder of HGV licence).
Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller
Requirements for Trainee HGV Technician / Mechanic
Previous experience as a Light Vehicle Technician
Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Must have own tools
