Our client a private golf club based in Guildford are looking for a Sous Chef to join the team. Looking for a chef role that will give you a fantastic work life balance then this could be for you.
We are looking a new Sous Chef to join the brigade. You will be working 5/7 days per week and assisting the Head Chef in his daily duties. As Sous Chef, you must be capable of looking after the kitchen in the Head Chef s absence ensuring that service runs smoothly.
You will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen, be organised and understand how to order and receive deliveries correctly. Ideally you will be looking for progression and want a long term position where you can thrive and learn lots!
As a Sous Chef
Be able to demonstrate the right level of experience and qualification for the role
The successful candidate will be required to oversee a section within the kitchen, whilst remaining calm and level-headed. With more sites set to be opened, internal promotion is always a viable opportunity.
You will be expected to:
Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard.
Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
Fantastic working hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm.
