They are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their busy company based in Liverpool on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated person who exceeds working towards tight deadlines. The Payroll Officer will have solid payroll experience to run full end to end payroll.

Description

The Payroll Offier duties include:

• Running the payrolls from start to finish for 4 weekly and weekly payrolls
• Processing Starters and Leavers
• Processing the P45's and Starter
• Keeping the Sage Payroll up to date
• Keeping accurate holiday records
• Processing the SSP, SMP and SPP
• P60and P11d preparation and submission
• Year End processing
• All HMRC Returns
• Processing of leavers for RTI
• Administrating and processing payments to the Pension Scheme provider

Profile

The succesful Payroll Officer will:

• Have solid Payroll Experience, as this is a stand alone role
• Sage Payroll is advantagous but can be trained
• Good excel skills to reconcile payroll data
• Attention to detail
• Accurate keying in skills for Permanent and Temporary data
• Excellent telephone manner
• Good written, verbal and numeracy skills
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Use of initiative to deal with enquiries and or problems
• Ability to follow procedures
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
