Haulfryn family is looking for an Architectural and Landscape Designer to join a growing team at our friendly holiday resort, The Warren Resort & Spa.

The Warren Resort & Spa is situated close to affluent Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula. With multiple restaurants, leisure and Spa area as well as private beach.

The Landscape and Architectural Designer will be responsible for managing the on ground design improvement of the Warren's architectural and landscape design . This will include masterplanning of the entire site and new development areas, small interior design projects, concept building designs and individual pitch landscape design. They will also sign off all customer landscape alterations ensuring they are high quality, in line with the parks design guidelines as well as manage breaches.

What You Will Do

  • This role will s it between the commercial property team and the sales team offering a bespoke design service to existing or new customers to increase the value of the plot by selling add ons to the lodge such as landscaped gardens, plants and lifestyle aspects from interior to exterior
  • D esign larger scale developments/masterplan layouts
  • Coordinate between the customer & maintenance team with regards to signing off any redevelopment aspects of the pitch
  • W ork between the central office stock control l er, the customers & factories in design co-ordination.

What You Will Bring

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in Interior design, architectural design or landscape design
  • Knowledge of landscape & masterplanning design methods and execution
  • Knowledge and experience in the specification of hard landscaping materials
  • Knowledge of how to execute an interior design package (leisure and holiday home)
  • Ability and skilled in working with customers on their landscape as well as interior improvement plans, signing off all drawings
  • Ability to work with the in house head gardener on joint landscape schemes
  • Ability to create a set of design guidelines for the park with considered and distinct looks and feels of areas as well as specification of material
  • Good people & communication skills both in digital presentation as well as face to face
  • Experience putting projects out to tender, choosing the preferred contractor and experience managing contractors, creating and managing a list of approved contractors
  • Experience designing a variety of interior and exterior landscape spaces from concept design through to detailed design and project delivery
  • Experience in designing concept architectural building designs
  • Experience in designing landscapes heavily planted (there will be a head gardener for species specification)
  • Experience in the leisure or tourism sector is a bonus

Competencies

  • Competent in the creation of Auto CAD detailed drawing packages
  • Competent to a high standard in photoshop, illustrator, sketch up/other 3D packages
  • Competent and experience managing contractors on site
  • Competent on excel, work and photo shop
  • Competent to manages the budget and finances of a design project
