This role

Working in the community as a support worker you will join our team providing support to vulnerable adults that feel isolated from their community. You will be working with customers throughout Nottinghamshire in their own homes. You will therefore be required to work flexibly to ensure individual needs are met while maximising independence, choice, dignity, privacy and well-being. It is essential that you have the ability to travel independently.

This service provides support to customers of all ages from 18 upwards, although the majority are over 55. We have one part-time post at 25 hours a week Monday to Friday. You will however need to be flexible in your working to meet customers needs on occasion.

Please note this vacancy will be duel location, with visits to out main office in Beeston (NG9 1LA) required. Your job title will be Care & Support Worker.

What you ll need to succeed

As this role will involve lone working to be successful previous experience of supporting vulnerable adults is essential. You will demonstrate you understand what good support looks like and how care plans are created to achieve this. As all of the plans are maintained electronically you should also be confident at learning to use new IT systems at work.
