Lead Quantity Surveyor - Plymouth
A market leading property maintenance company are looking for a Lead Surveyor to join their team. This well-established company s portfolio includes refurbishments, reactive maintenance and painting to a variety of sectors including social housing, MOD, new builds and local authorities.
Responsibilities:
Take financial control of a project from point of inception to completion
Manage the process from contract award through to final account agreement
Cost management / CVR reporting and forecasting
Reporting progress to senior management
Management and administration of sub-contractor accounts
Producing and submitting applications for payment/Final accounts
Negotiate with suppliers for best value
Work with clients to review and approve contracts
Generating progress reports for internal review and valuations
Requirements:
Relevant Qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar position
Experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft suite, particularly Microsoft project and outlook
UK Driving Licence
