ESTIMATOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Permanent Position B & A Construction (Leicester) Ltd requires an Estimator Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on various Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Industrial projects of both new build and refurbishment in public and private sector.

B & A are a well-established construction company with an extensive client base within Leicestershire and surrounding counties. B & A enjoy a sound reputation with many Architects, Engineers and Surveyors within the East Midlands.

THE ESTIMATOR/QS ROLE

• Providing cost estimates of projects from both plan & spec enquiries and B of Q enquiries for final tender adjudication and submission;

• Preparation of quantity take offs for ‘in house’ Bills of Quantities;

• Engage with subcontractor and material supply chain to ensure competitive quotations obtained;

• Developing client and professional design team relationships to enhance tender opportunities;

• Placing Orders and general assistance in the post contract duties with site and office management.
