Electro-Mechanical Engineering Supervisor (Specialist Power Generation)

GBP45,000 + profit share bonus + flexitime + career progression
Are you an electro-mechanical engineer, with any supervisory experience, looking for the next step in your career, with a successful company within the power generation industry where you will have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility?

You will be working for a global company which specialise in the repair and rewind of rotating electrical equipment.
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established company, with over 70 years' experience in manufacture, service and maintenance of high quality rotating electrical equipment, across a diverse range of industries. You will oversee all aspects of current and upcoming engineering service requirements onsite, to ensure each workshop realises it's full potential, in the areas of output, efficiency and quality. You will form a crucial link between workshops and management, being the go to person for all workshops, and a key figure in management.
The role:
Allocation of manpower to meet delivery schedules and avoid bottlenecks
Monitoring, reporting and improvements on performance and productivity levels
Implementing / maintaining high levels of quality through Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, 5s
Lead production meetings with supervisors and key personnel
Maintain morale and team work ethic
Liaise with the commercial team, sales department, stock control, operations admin and directors
