Bridge Recruitment s client, a family run contractor with other 40 years history, based in Godstone, Surrey have an exciting opportunity for Assistant/ intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team
Our client covers Brickwork, Screeding and Resin services across London and the Home Counties. Projects range from 50k-5M via 50+ projects per year, predominantly via Tier- 1 Main-contractors.
Our client works almost exclusively in public sector via commercial projects however, they also work on large scale high-rise residential projects.
We are looking for an up and coming Quantity Surveyor who potentially has had exposure to Estimating. It his highly desirable that you have brickwork experience although, Screeding and Resin backgrounds will be considered.
You will have strong IT skills, both excellent written and verbal skills and confident dealing with clients and sub-contractors. You will have an eye for detail with strong mathematical attributes and commercial astuteness. You will be eager to get on site and assist with tendering at busy times
You will have worked as a Quantity Surveyor for at least 3 years with a further 3 years in our clients sector (Brickwork /Screeding / Resin)
It s essential you drive to reach the clients office.
Daily responsibilities and accountabilities
Financial control of projects
Cost value reconciliation
Site Visits
Client liaison
Variations via design plans
Weekly wage control
Occasional tendering work.
Package
Annual salary of GBP35,000 - GBP50,000 based on experience
Monday - Friday 08:30-17:30
