Are you looking for an opportunity to further your career in the IT and Networking world? Telent are now looking for a NOC Engineer to be based from our Camberley based IT Service Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer who has a passion for Networks to join a growing and experienced team that will also help to further your career.

The NOC Engineer role will cover a 24/7 work pattern based on 4 days on / 4 days off shift patter rota (7am-7pm then 7pm-7am)

NOC Engineer - Role Profile

To provide remote technical IT support for the Network Services customer base, mainly across Emergency Services and the Public sector
Provide clear, concise, and accurate verbal and written communication to our customers, with the ability to provide technical updates to those who may not be of the same technical level or higher
Satisfaction is at the forefront of all commitments, so you will ensure remote technical IT support is done in a timely manner to achieve set KPI's and standards
To understand Telent's change management and implementation processNOC Engineer - Typical Deliverables

To provide timely responses to the incident management process which includes investigation, troubleshooting, diagnosis and data analysis of IT issues or Network issues
Recognise, identify, and prioritise incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organisational policies, and operational impact
Technical ownership of all Telent incidents to maintain customer satisfaction
Clear, concise, and accurate case management
Trend analysis and root cause analysis to support the Incident and Problem Management processes
Collect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends in systems and performance to assist the Problem Management Process to improve on future issues
Work alongside the Telent service desk to ensure accurate and timely updates against customer SLAs
To be responsible for the documentation and upkeep of Technical Databases relating to Customers Networks, this
Information is to be held on either a WIKI or KEDB, which will be used in resolving customer incidents and problems.
Expectation to create and peer review documentation, work instructions, LLD, HLD and delivery of new bug information
Conduct fault replication in a lab environment when requiredBusiness Operations Skills - Essential

2 Years + experience in supporting Enterprise and/or Service Provider based Networks within a NOC (Network Operations Centre) environment
CCNA or JNCIA-JUNOA
CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network +
CompTIA ITF+ (DESIRABLE)
