Vision for Education are looking to recruit qualified primary subject specialist teachers to work as Tutors, providing 1:1 and small group tuition sessions, face-to-face for pupils whose education has been most affected by school closures during the pandemic.
The role
A primary school based in Gateshead are looking for a subject specialist teacher to deliver English and maths sessions to KS2 students starting September 2022 until July 2023. Working hours are 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday.
Tutors will deliver multiple tuition blocks to different groups of students. The school will provide the Tutor with information about the students participating in each group, their current attainment levels, what needs to be covered during the sessions and the expected outcomes for each tuition group.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of a Primary tutor, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be primary or secondary subject specialists.
Have completed child protection, safeguarding and GDPR courses within the last 12 months before commencing any tutoring sessions. We can provide tutors with free access to these training courses if required.
