My client, a world leader within navigational technologies, is looking for a Support Engineer to join their IT team and provide support across the business.
Reporting directly to the IT Manager you will be involved in system administration, user and technical support via phone and email. Diagnosing and fixing network, hardware and software issues whether internally or with the managed service suppliers.
This is also a customer facing role so you must be someone who enjoys working with external clients and on a variety of projects. Your previous background in technical support will involve a strong knowledge of Windows operating systems as well as Microsoft Office and Teams. Plus experience of working with Servers 2012 and 2019. A history of fixing hardware faults and the installation of upgrades. A Microsoft (e.g. MCSE, MCSA or MCP) certification would be highly beneficial along with CCNA - although this is not essential.
This is also a role that requires a UK Driving Licence as you will be commuting between sites.
If you feel this is you - then please send your CV through with your contact details so we can organise a confidential chat
