Title: HR Manager

Reports to: Commercial and Marketing Director

Hours: 9.30 - 3pm TBC (30mins for lunch) - 5 hours per day - Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities

HR Manager Responsibilities:

Support SMT with HR Planning to meet the future employment needs of our clients.

Consistently recruiting excellent staff to join the Team.

Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.

Identify training needs of individuals and teams and work with the management team to put in place appropriate training, development and coaching plans.

Celebrating employee success.

Consistently introducing ideas to keep the Team well-motivated and high performing by ensuring the well-being of staff and our company culture are positively maintained.

Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.

Carrying out necessary HR administrative duties.

Conducting performance appraisals and wage reviews, with Line Managers, as required.

Maintaining and developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.

Creating clear and concise reports using Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Giving helpful and engaging presentations.

Reporting on workplace health and safety compliance, as requested by Office Manager.

Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures.

Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.

HR Manager Requirements:

2-4 years experience in human resources.

Bachelor s degree in human resources management, or CIPD equivalent.

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

Experience in educating and coaching staff.

Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.

Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.

Ability to give presentations.

Knowledge of relevant HR and health and safety laws.

Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Eagerness to learn and become proficient in People HR System, currently used for some HR records.

Reporting

A brief fortnightly report will be required to be submitted to the Commercial and Marketing Director by Friday am for continuity and planning.

Key Skills Required

Minimum 3 years experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR role will be considered a plus.

Good computer skills (MS Office)

Proficiency in English

Keen attention to detail.

Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A team player with high level of dedication

Good interpersonal skills to provide excellent service to the Team

Experience in communicating at all levels

Ability to manage own workload and experience of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
