About the role:
Experienced / ambitious Senior Engineer required to work with the project team on a GBP60m new build high spec residential development in Poole, Dorset.
Working with the project team on site, you will be responsible for all technical engineering aspects of the project throughout construction.
Reporting to the Project Director and Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
All technical engineering functions from assessing construction design information, liaison with structural engineers, setting out grid-lines, checking of sub-contractor engineer setting out, QA, monitoring of and coordination of subcontract packages including temporary works, demolition, groundworks, piling, insitu RC concrete works for basement and podium slabs, precast concrete, etc, plus issue resolution.
The project is due to commence on site imminently and run for 2 years until late 2024

The contractor is a busy contractor / developer who specialise in new build residential and student accommodation schemes using modern methods of construction. This is the first of several schemes in the Dorset South Coast area.
Requirements:
You will be degree qualified and have a proven track record of successful major project delivery with a recognised main contractor.
You will ideally have 5+ years of experience working in a Site Engineer / Senior/Project engineer role on medium to large projects with experience of concrete structures and some coordination of temporary works.
