Are you an experienced Adult Service Manager?

Looking to work at a care home with family values and service users at the heart of everything they do?

Our client is a residential care home providing a service to 11 adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and PMLD. The care home is situated in the Colinton/Oxgangs area of Edinburgh and access to excellent community and transport links to the city centre, and elsewhere.

Successful candidates will be happy to work on a permanent basis offering excellent salary up to GBP32,000.

As a Manager you will be a committed and caring individual with relevant experience of working in a social care setting for Adult Services within a housing support environment.

You will be overseeing a service who strive to:

• Provide the highest standards of care 24/7 by skilled trained staff
• Maintain a physically and mentally stimulating life style for service users
• Respect the independence, dignity, diversity, privacy, choice, and the rights of service users
• Recognise and respond to individual needs
• Provide service users, families, friends, and staff with a warm, friendly, healthy and safe environment to live and work

The successful Manager will be responsible for:

Working effectively as part of a team, leading the staff from the front

Recognising and encouraging the rights of Adults within all areas of their life

Working in a professional manner, meeting SSSC and Care Inspectorate Standards

In order to be considered for this post, you must be:

Qualified to minimum SVQ Level 4 in Care and hold an SCQF Level 8 and above in Management

A car driver with access to your own vehicle (ESSENTIAL)

Minimum 4 years UK management experience, working within a Adults care setting
