Supervisor

Do you have experience as a Factory Supervisor? If so, our client based in the Colchester area is a well-established, leading supplier of high-quality construction products and want to recruit a Factory Supervisor to organise and supervise the production team.

Duties:

Organise and supervise up to 20 staff working on the factory floor
Ensure the staff are working to maximum efficiency and productivity.
Ensure stock levels are maintained and all production equipment is cleaned and ready to use
Responsible for achieving production targets, resolving production issues and ensuring quality levels are maintained
Ensure the smooth running, cleanliness and efficiency of the factory.
Attend internal quality meetings with other Managers and Directors.
Liaise with Suppliers and the Procurement Manager regarding order placing.
Motive staff to hit production targets.
Be flexible regarding potential changes within a developing business.Experience:

Previous supervisory experience within a factory environment
Must be a good motivator of staff, well organised and diligent
Self-motivated, great attention to detail and takes pride in work
Experience of construction related manufacture would be preferable
Must have own transport and live within a commutable distance of ColchesterBenefits:
