Outbound Logistics Administrator - 3 months fixed term - GBP24K - Hybrid - Bracknell
Role Overview
The role is arranging outbound deliveries along with day to day customer interaction.
Primary responsibilities
Arrange booking slots with various customers, including calculating pallet/loads in line with customer specifications, liaising with customers via their preferred method
Monitor open orders for booking customers and arrange prebooks for orders and manage the process for stock arrival to booking or amend accordingly
Arrange collection of stock from customers who require a booking
Arrange export deliveries, produce the relevant customs paperwork, arrange transport and follow through the delivery to acceptance
Complete Irish Export/Returns process including creation of paperwork & liaison with warehouse and transport
Produce various reports for use by the business
Work with Customer Ops from order placement to delivery note receipt on Direct deliveries
Check and process supplier invoices to allow payment
MIC processing
TSS entry for Northern Ireland deliveries
Handle day to day queries from both internal and external contacts.
Generate SAP and other business reports
Work with the Supervisor to standardize and improve operational processes within the business.
General sales and management support.
Any other Ad-Hoc duties as deemed necessary by the business
Experience & Knowledge
Ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization (including Telephone and email).
Logical-thinking / critical-thinking skills combined with being well organized.
Strong data entry and accuracy.
Must be able to work as part of a team but must also be able to work on own initiative.
An awareness of the impact a support department can have on critical customer and business issues.
IT Skills
Must be computer literate with Excel skills
