Site Manager - Build - Carlisle
Site Manager required for social housing project in Carlisle, Cumbria.
Temp to Perm contract - day rate/salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Requirement is for kitchen & bathroom retrofits - work is ongoing and will run for approx. 4 years.
The ideal candidate will have their own transport and will have worked in social housing before.
Job scope will include:
Managing subcontractors undertaking the works
Ensuring the works are completed in a safe efficient manner to stated timescales
Liaising with the client s clerk of works and Main Contractors resident liaison office to ensure works comply with specification documents and tenants day to day activities are unaffected by workstream
Inspecting properties pre and post works
Overseeing day to day delivery of programme
Must have
Health and Safety
Asbestos Awareness
SMSTS
CSCS Card
Experience within social housing industry
Own transport.
Applicants must have valid tickets, relevant social housing/build/finishing experience & checkable references
