Job Responsibility

Reporting into the Wayleaves Team Leader, the main purpose of your role is to support the Wayleaves team in the acquisition and negotiation of Network Access Agreements and Wayleaves, enabling the build team to deliver FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) projects.

Your key responsibilities are:

You will be supporting the Wayleaves Team with all administrative tasks making regular use of MS Office and additional systems and sites (training will be provided).

Together with the wider Wayleaves Team you will be actively engaged in identifying owners of land and buildings from whom we need to obtain permission to access their property to build or extend our network.

In partnership with the Wayleaves Officers, you will support by using land registry and local authority information to establish who the relevant landowners and grantors are and applying to them for permission in the most effective way possible. You might be speaking to relevant parties on the telephone, arranging site visits and sending information by post or e-mail to facilitate the process. You will be tracking progress and actively pushing to ensure that permissions are obtained in time for our build programme to keep on track (without putting anybody s back up!)

Ultimately your role is to facilitate customers getting our service, through organised administration, landowner contact and consistent follow up.

You will visit the build site on a regular basis (up to twice per week) and will establish working relationships with your Zzoommer colleagues in the area.

You will report to the Wayleave Team Leader and will be working every day with Network Planning Team and Installations Supervisors.

Profile of Candidate

Excellent MS Office administration skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Negotiation and influencing skills (for follow up chaser calls).

Ability to communicate with interested parties using standard templates and/or drafting appropriately worded ancillary correspondence to progress access agreement applications

Escalate issues as they arise to ensure action is taken

Full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home. Working hours - Mon-Fri, 8.45am - hours
