Salary: GBP38,000 - GBP40,000 + Bonus
Location: Homebased
Position: Permanent - Full time (37.5hrs - Monday to Friday - We also offer part-time positions)
Training: We offer a completely remote training programme which is completely paid for which will also go down as a qualification once you have been signed off.

We are currently recruiting for homebased clinicians across the UK who are seeking a new direction to working in traditional clinical roles. These positions are suitable for Adult Nurse s (RGN, RMN and RNLD), Paramedics, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapist. Recognised by the NMC as clinical so you re able to maintain your NMC/HCPC pin from the comfort of your own home.

About the Role:
The role as Disability Assessor is a step away from the normal clinical role that does not involve providing treatment, diagnosing, decision making, or hands-on care, however, you will still be utilising and building upon your clinical knowledge and skills, completing in depth assessments, and writing accurate and detailed reports. There are two options when undertaking the homebased assessor role, these are Back Office and Front Office:

Back Office - Reviewing PIP cases and completing paper-based reviews (PBR s) pf those cases at home; you would be the first person to review a PIP case including terminally ill cases and gather further medical evidence required.
Front Office - completing telephone assessments with individuals with various physical, mental health and/or learning disabilities and then relaying this further medical evidence into a report. Which must be accurate and detailed as this will help be part of the decision making of the Claimants outcome.

Essential Person Specifications:

No previous Disability Assessor experience is required as training is completely provided. However, previous experience is essential.
Occupation who meets the criteria: Adult Nursing - RGN, RMN RNLD, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist. Must have 1 year s professional registration.
Must be IT Literate - able to use a computer, talking and typing skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with the general public
