We are looking for an EMEA events coordinator to support our conference and trade show schedule, lead generation, lead conversion and customers expanding their use of nanopore technology. You will work closely with the existing Marketing team and other teams to create (online and offline) events that best address the needs of each market!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Assist in organisation of presence at trade conferences which may include booths, satellite events, speaking invitations, sales events - Liaising with sales teams to co-ordinate a schedule of events to support their tactical plans - Write engaging email, website and social media content in line with company brand and tone to promote Company events and conference attendance - Work with the Campaigns team to promote events across corporate social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), ensuring appropriate tone and continued pipeline of rich content, which addresses multiple audiences. - Lead tracking and follow up using CRM system - Administrative activities to support events - Assist in the planning and coordination of Nanopore Flagship events - such as London Calling - Any other duties as might be required within the remit and responsibilities of the post.

We require you to have experience in coordinating logistics or events and the ability to work proficiently with external contractors and internal stakeholders as this is key to ensuring that Oxford Nanopore's presence is both strong and innovative!

We'll expect you to have a degree ideally in either life sciences or business/marketing with a vested interest in technology/research and a passion for sharing cutting-edge research stories from around the globe. You'll have some experience of teamwork and problem solving and ideally be able to find opportunities to engage with our scientific community in a creative way.
