Blue Arrow is working in partnership with a local company in Congleton CW12- a world renowned manufacturer of automotive safety systems. We are currently seeking an experienced quality technician to fill a permanent role. This role would have you join the on-site quality team and involves achieving and continuously improving all key objectives of the Quality Department.
As the quality technician, you would be an essential player responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of products being produced on-site. You would work to improve overall understanding within the team of the corporate standards and IATF 16949. You would also implement problem solving techniques to drive scrap reduction and resolve other issues. You would also be expected to achieve targets set and implement improvement activities.
Core Responsibilities
To work with the Quality Engineer & Process Engineer to review and audit processes to prevent Quality concerns.
To ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards
To work with Maintenance Technician and Team Leaders to implement an effective TPM culture, schedule and system.
To participate in meetings, ensure all data presented is consistent, compliant with company standards and accurate.
To manage & ensure operation of SPC within the company, to recognize unstable processes and react accordingly.
To participate with the team on FMEA, SOPs & Control Plans.
To generate QOS reports as required.
To liaise with leaders and other quality technicians on problem resolution.
Train / support all operators to E(phone number removed) acceptance criteria and Quality First Principals.
This position would have a full continental shift pattern:
A classic 12 Hour Continental Shift
3 Days on: 06:00 - 18:00
3 Days off
3 Nights on: 18:00 - 06:00
3 Days off
You will have 75 minutes of paid breaks per shift.
The position has a rate of pay of GBP12.86/hr with a weekly shift allowance of GBP65/week totalling an annual salary of GBP31481.
