Residential Childcare Worker, Nights
We have numerous positions open for Registered Childcare Officers around Merseyside. We have vacancies in Aigburth, Cronton, Prescot and Huyton.
These are full time and permanent positions.
You will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week 12-hour waking night shifts and weekends (nights) on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
The service provides accommodation for Looked-After Children young people aged 10 to 18 with ASD and associated needs and difficulties.
The homes provide safe, consistent and therapeutic environments based upon the importance of forming positive attachments, offering permanency and positive parenting.
We are looking to recruit people with a background in working with and supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Requirements
Experience of direct work with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties is essential
Diploma Level 3/4 Children and Young People's Workforce or recognised professional qualification in therapeutic work with young people
