A great role for an experienced Software Support Technician to join a successful software company in Crownhill, Milton Keynes. Working in a team of 3, this is friendly company where you can build a career. Duties to include:
Communicating via phone and email with customers requiring assistance or information
Interpreting clients needs and utilize CRM software programs to identify possible resolutions
Following established procedures to handle inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure client satisfaction
Communicating via Phone and email with new and existing customers to help them prepare their infrastructure for initial install and/or and upgrades of their Software applications
Working closely with the sales and training team members to prepare for initial and/or repeat training
Contributing, at various stages, to software testing, deployment or upgrades
Prepare hardware to be shipped to customers
Experience Required
Minimum of 2 year experience as a support technician or relevant industry experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Computer Networking (over LAN and WAN). Windows Mobile and Software programs experience
Ability to effectively explain the technical complexities of the software package; especially as the audience may include people with a wide range of computer skills and educational levels
Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, patience and empathy
Ability to learn new software quickly as well as the flexibility to adopt new working methods
Possess technical skills
Possess technical writing skills
Excellent spoken and written English
Team-oriented, dynamic and enthusiastic and self motivated
Strong planning and organizing skills with very little supervision
In-depth knowledge of O Neil Software s applications (is an advantage)
Working knowledge of RS-SQL, RSMobile and RSWeb.NET (is an advantage)
Working knowledge of a commercial record centre (is an advantage)
