Job title: Chef de Partie/Sr. Chef de Partie/Jr. Sous/Sous Chef
Salary: Up to 32,000 GBP
Location: Brentwood, Essex
Type of contract: Permanent
Workplace description: This luxury 4-star hotel is located just 1 miles from Brentwood Train Station, junction 28 of the M25 motorway, junction 11 of the A12, and Brentwood's central High Street. This historic Tudor manor house offers a 1AA Rosette restaurant and bar.
Main duties and responsibilities: You will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food to high standards, while maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times.
You should be able to work as part of a team as well as showing your own initiative. A passion for food is a must and you should be able to inspire others with your flair and individuality.
You'll be able to work on your own initiative as you learn from colleagues
Essential criteria: To be passionate about every aspect of food and cooking
To enjoy the buzz of being busy
Excellent spoken English
Excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety.
Sound kitchen experience, and ideally NVQ level 2 or similar level food preparation qualification
Pastry experience an advantage
Determined and Enthusiastic and willing to work hard as part of our busy kitchen team
Accommodation provided: Yes
Charge for accommodation: 280.00 GBP per month
