System Integration Test Manager
A vacancy for a System Integration Test Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Blandford. Reporting directly to the HO Operations you will be joining our test architecture team supporting the client's specialist communications requirements.
As the Test Manager you will liaise with customers on C4ISR projects to confirm requirements and ensure that tests are designed in line with the programme testing requirements.
Location: Blandford Camp, Dorset Salary: GBPCompetitive + Bonus + Benefits Job Type: Permanent Security: Must be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role Role Tasks Plan, design and manage testing lifecycle - Planning of the project test event. Design test environments, incorporating existing reference systems, systems under test and test tools such as iTrinergy Network Emulator, IXIA Breaking Point, Endace data capture system, and Riverbed analytical tool. Manage Test Team. Configuration and deployment of appropriate test tools to meet predefined test aims. Create, validate and baseline the test environment and produce test documentation. Manage and deliver assured test events. Analysis of test results and producing detailed Task Reports. Work to defined processes and procedures as defined within ISO 9 Skill & Experience Communications or information systems engineering degree/ HND or equivalent Systems engineer with a broad based communications and information systems background. Testing experience including a detailed knowledge of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) network emulation, stimulation and monitoring tools. Experience in testing CIS systems or applications Experience of writing a technical report.
