We have an exciting new opportunity for an Estates Officer to join us here at Thrive Homes! Our Frontline are responsible for providing the day to day service to our customers (internal and external), providing comprehensive advice & support, supplying compliance and issues resolution with specialist know-how.

The Opportunity

This front-line role will provide a comprehensive service to our customers and be focused on the 'relationship' between the customer, Thrive, our partners and stakeholders.

  • Carry out routine estates visits to complete inspections of the communal areas within our portfolio of properties.
  • Undertake flick testing' to the communal lighting through the blocks.
  • AOV testing where applicable during block inspections.
  • Booking and monitoring the follow up of works and actions and to complete associated administration for grounds maintenance, communal area repairs and door entry system.
  • Identify and escalate support requirements to the appropriate support channel e.g. sustainment and intervention.
  • Undertake and review cleaning inspections highlighting area for improvement through the correct channels.
  • Collaborating and supporting across the team and business to ensure resolution of issues are achieved.

Requirements

  • Full Driving Licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Trained on flick testing and AOV checks (desirable)
  • Have an understanding of tenancy management and the ability to identify repairs.
  • Experience of delivering a service to a diverse customer base.
  • Engage with customers at all levels providing updates on communal works as well as highlighting issues to our dedicated health and safety team and contractors.

  • Salary of between GBP29,000 - GBP30,000 per year
