Our client, an East Midlands authority, is seeking an interim Team Manager to cover its Reablement service.

You would only be required in the office around once weekly, and the role is expected to run until November (covering maternity leave).

We can consider part-time hours or condensed hours for this role.

The role will involve the following:

  • Supporting a team of qualified and unqualified staff
  • Providing case advice
  • Reading and authorising assessments/support plans
  • Supervisions
  • Authorising annual leave/sickness
  • Monitoring performance
  • Allocating cases
  • Transferring cases between teams in the department
  • Attending meetings

Requirements of the role:

  • Social Work qualified
  • Social Work England registered
  • Management experience within adult social care
  • Post-qualifying experience and/or knowledge of reablement work
