Job: Strategic HR Manager
School: Multi-Academy Trust, Slough, Berkshire
Start date: ASAP
Annual FTE Salary: Level 8 point 36 to 41, fringe GBP41,543 to GBP46,613 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, part-time 15 to 20 hours a week, full year (52 weeks) (flexibility on days/hours will be considered)

Aston Education is looking for a part-time Strategic Trust HR Manager for a medium size Multi-Academy Trust with primary and secondary schools in Slough in Berkshire. You will lead on strategic HR functions and services across the trust.
As a Strategic Trust HR Manager, your main responsibilities are:
Develop, implement, and maintain effective HR strategies to support the effective management of people resources across the Trust
Manage relevant Trust-wide projects and initiatives to harmonise HR practices across the schools in the Trust
Work closely with the Trust s external HR provider to support the delivery of effective strategic advice and guidance
Work closely with Headteachers, HR Advisors in schools, School Business Managers and other key school personnel to support the effective and consistent provision of HR transactional activities in schools
Applicants must demonstrate the flexibility to work efficiently in a busy and fast-moving environment. You are CIPD Qualified, have exceptional knowledge of HR Best Practice and Employment Law and a strong track record of providing strategic HR advice across multiple sites. School based HR experience would be beneficial.
This is a growing multi-academy trust with all schools Ofsted Good or Outstanding. They provide excellent CPD for all staff.
This role is based on site, no hybrid working available.
