An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic administration team based in Woodlands Unit, Ipswich as a Clinical Team Administrator. This is ideal for someone who is interested in building on their current admin skills and experiencing a fast paced and interesting new challenge.

The role will be interesting and varied, supporting the Crisis Pathway s clinical teams and working as part of the wider admin team to provide good admin support to our service users and clinicians.

The main teams that you would support are Police Triage, Crisis and Home Treatment Team, Mental Health Liaison, ECT and Diste. You would also provide cover as and when required for Reception and Patients Finance.

Our crisis pathway offers 24 hour support and emergency assessments and can provide an alternative to admission service for over 18 s who are experiencing acute mental health problems. We provide support for people who are in an acute mental health crisis. The service is a 24 hours, seven days a week service although the admin role will cover Monday to Friday within the hours of 9am to 5pm. Woodlands is also home to two acute inpatient wards, an older persons ward working with both functional and dementia patients and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Main duties of the job

Your role will involve a wide range of tasks from minute taking, daily team meetings and regular medical meetings as well as ad hoc professionals meetings. Data collection and inputting, taking the work the clinical team do and ensuring it is on our clinical database in the correct way to support data reporting. Creating clinical letters using both written and audio dictation to support information sharing with both the patient and relevant support services. The role will also include answering the phones for the teams, talking with patients, carers and other professionals in a calm, professional and empathetic way. This is a stimulating and varied role where no two days are alike but are extremely rewarding. All training will be given for the successful candidate.
