Compass are working with a client who are now looking to expand our growing team with this new role of administration assistant.
This is an ideal role for someone with experience of working within a customer focussed administration role who loves being organised. The role will primarily be based in Leeds, with occasional travel to Dewsbury and Bradford and possibly to other parts of West Yorkshire.
Customer service is critical in all of our activities and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate numerous examples of excellent customer service.
The role will include various administration duties:
General administrative duties including typing correspondence by e-mail and letter
To undertake filing, photocopying and distribution of relevant documents.
Answering the telephone in a professional manner and dealing with enquiries
Responsible for co-ordinating the post
Managing diaries and communicating appointments
Support to members of the Management Team
Using Microsoft Packages, in particular Word and Excel
Inputting data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy
To deal courteously and efficiently with all visitors, in person, on the phone and through correspondence
Dealing with stationery/stock levels and reordering as and when appropriate
Assisting all members of the team as and when required
Dealing with requests for information
The successful candidate will need to have the following:
Administration experience, ideally within a customer focussed environment.
An ability to identify issues and the initiative to resolve them
An eye for detail and diligence to achieve high standards
Excellent communication skills, a high level of written and spoken English
Resilience & flexibility
A positive attitude
A driving licence and access to a car to travel across sites occasionally
