We are currently working on behalf of an established manufacturing company in Margate who are recruiting Machine Operators to join their team. Full training will be provided, however its preferred that candidates have knowledge or a keen interest in electronics.
Experienced Surface Mount Operator are also welcome to apply.
Personal qualities:
A keen interest of experience with electronics, this could be a hobby or through education
Previous machine operation experience.
Able to understand and follow strict quality procedures and policies with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to use PC based software
After training and development you will report to the SMT Team Leader your responsibilities will be:
Running, managing and optimising a 'Surface Mount Pick and Place' line, ensuring maximum output as well as the best quality.
Set-Up and keeping checks on all necessary equipment within the line.
Off line Set-up and checking of BOM components. Ensuring good component trace-ability and stock control.
First Article Inspection.
Using continuous improvements techniques, reduce wastes, promote sound working practices and improve operator skills.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 1300 - 2200 with 30 minutes for Lunch & Fridays 12 till 1700 - 39 hours a week
Benefits:
GBP9.84 per hour for any hours up to 7pm and GBP11.81 per hour for hours after 7pm
29 days holiday rising by 3 days after 12 weeks service

Please note there may be a requirement to work alternative hours during your training period, but these are flexible depending on your circumstances. .
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with an immediate start
