You're either an experienced Industrial Chemist looking for your next challenge or have a desire to become one!
As an Industrial Chemist you will play an essential role in ensuring the facility is kept performing to its optimum levels. You'll be joining a well-established local business as an Industrial Chemist, with the opportunity to learn chemical processes and progress within the company.
This Poole based business will consider applications from trainees who can demonstrate a passion or relevant skills relating to chemistry.
The Job
As an Industrial Chemist you will:
Take daily samples from equipment across the site to ensure things are working within the required parameters
Work closely with the production departments to ensure that fluctuations are identified and managed accordingly
Undertake chemical analysis to monitor and maintain process chemistry
Completion of relevant paperwork to ensure there is always complete traceability
Support senior management with audits when required
Manual loading of the specific chemicals into the production area (15kg - 20kg)
Managing the stock levels of the consumables required
Be involved with training personnel in handling & use of chemicals and equipmentBackground
As a Trainee / Industrial Chemist you will have:
A keen interest and understanding in Chemistry, perhaps from having studied it at school or interest from previous experience
Previous experience of working within a production environment or within a plating business would be an advantage
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to prioritise work to achieve resultsInterested?
