Production Supervisor / Area Leader
Lutterworth area - commutable from Rugby, Coventry, Leicester, Northampton etc
Nights based, Monday - Friday 10pm-6am
GBP39000 - GBP40000 plus bonus
My client is a highly successful FMCG manufacturer. Due to continued growth, including record YOY growth in recent years, they are seeking a Production Supervisor / Area Leader to join the Production team.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the production team in this area of the factory, whilst supporting the delivery of operational KPIs, and driving excellent standards of production delivery and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include -
• To ensure a production line delivers it s shift production plan on time and in full via the correct setting up and running of both the line itself and the line crew.
• To manage hourly line performance - including addressing the major elements of downtime and yield loss as they occur via the use of hourly measurement and hourly corrective actions.
• To eliminate downtime of both their own time and that of their crew.
• To ensure the control of materials & labour are to standard or better.
• Responsible for the SIC boards in the area and the information populated on them
This is an incredibly exciting time for the business, as it creates a brand new team for this area of the business, this person will therefore help shape this new team! Drive and enthusiasm are therefore paramount!
The ideal candidate will be a Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Area Leader, ideally from within the food or FMCG sector, with experience of running production lines. They are looking for motivated, enthusiastic leaders who can come onboard and make a real impact!
