E MOTOR PROCESS ENGINEER

Rate: GBP20.88 via Umbrella - increasing to GBP28.46 after 13 weeks under AWR s - Agency Worker Regulations.

Position Description:E motor Process Engineer: Process engineering within our electric rotor & stator assembly team

Skills Required:

Process Engineering,

Manufacturing Engineering,

Planning & Project management,

Problem solving,

Cost estimation,

Supplier relations,

Equipment acceptance and installation, Quality control.

Skills Preferred:

E motor function and theory.

Proficient with data analytics tools (Q-DAS/Matlab/Alteryx).

Proficient with CAD software (Autodesk).

Experience Required:

Manufacturing engineering or experience within a similar manufacturing environment.

Specification, procurement and commissioning of manufacturing systems.

Experience Preferred:

Experience in electric motor manufacture or design.

Experience with stator or rotor manufacturing or design.

Experience in powertrain manufacture or design.

Experience in high volume automotive manufacturing systems.

Education Required:

BEng, BSc or equivalent.

Education Preferred:

Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.

Additional Information : THIS POSITION IS CONFIRMED INSIDE IR35 The role will be based in Dunton Essex for the planning and delivery of EU emotor manufacturing programs. Contractees will be embedded within the engineering teams to support program delivery and collaborate on the future of electrified powertrain manufacturing. The department strongly values teamwork but the contractee should expect, on occasion, to work individually with minimal guidance. We encourage contractees with relevant experience in the specification, procurement and commissioning of high volume manufacturing systems to apply. There may be opportunities to extend the contract as the program progresses to the installation and commissioning phase in Halewood, Liverpool in 2023 when a period of extended weekday travel is to be expected.
