Junior Finance Clerk Apprenticeship
Role Overview:
To support the accounts payable supervisor to ensure suppliers invoices are efficiently and accurately processed and/or reconciled- in line with the business processes and the company s commercial needs within your specific business remit. Supporting the accounts payable team with day-to-day tasks.
Role Responsibilities:
As a successful finance clerk, you will positively contribute to the success of the accounts payable team, within your specific business remit. You will support the process entering and processing all incoming invoices in line with internal procedures, through to supporting the payment to vendors by resolving any account queries enabling reconciled accounts.
Skills and Competencies we are looking for:
Has an understanding of accounts payable processes
Good working knowledge of accounting practices, specifically accounts payable
Ability to efficiently collaborate with both internal and external customer to reach mutually agreeable outcomes - Whilst always putting CitySprint's brand first
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to build successful/strong stakeholder s relationships across all functions
Ability to work efficiently and proactively in a team as well as individually
Demonstrate effective time management skills and meet deadlines
Effective upkeep and knowledge of internal systems and processes
Quick learner - ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
Adapt positively to change
Ability to reprioritise task/workload in line with changing business needs
Pro-actively reviews and monitors ways of working to ensure best practise
Great knowledge of excel
Working hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Qualification to be achieved - Business Administration apprenticeship level 3 qualification
