HR Advisor
To work with the Assistant Director of HR, Senior HRBP and HR Business Partners in the delivery of a professional and responsive HR service for a designated area, providing advice and guidance to service managers on all operational Human Resources issues.
To support HR Business Partners with specific projects, e.g. Service Redesign and Organisational Change
Sector: Healthcare
Working days and hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Temporary: Expected to last 2 months with a possible extension
Location: Aylesbury
Working from home: 3 days home working 2 days on site
Pay Rates: GBP19.50 Paye Inclusive of Holiday per hour or GBP22.50 Umbrella per hour

Responsibilities and Duties:
To provide professional advice and support to managers on matters relating to disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, bullying & harassment, performance management issues and liaise with Trade Union Representatives as necessary. This includes attending disciplinary meetings/hearings and advising on the process and outcome.
To coach and support staff and service managers in all aspects of Human Resources management, including the appropriate application of Trust policies and procedures, which may include investigation and resolution of specific HR related queries, i.e. repeated errors on payroll forms.
To provide timely, consistent and accurate advice and support for service managers during investigations and to advice at disciplinary panel hearings.
To provide advice and interpretative guidance and support to managers and staff on all terms and conditions including Agenda for Change, employment law, contract queries, annual leave, flexible working etc, and the application of all HR policies in line with best practice
To provide appropriate HR advice and support at investigatory meetings and at disciplinary/grievance hearings, including the taking of notes, which will form an accurate record of proceedings.
Provide support to managers and staff in relation to organisational change including job design, redeployment, redundancy TUPE, etc.
Issue retirement/exit interview letters. Conduct exit interviews as required with members of staff to investigate reasons for leaving and feedback any issues of concern to the appropriate service manager.
To provide professional HR support in the recruitment process, as required, (e.g. sitting on recruitment panels for senior posts)
To participate in job matching / job evaluation panels that requires assessing job descriptions against nationally set profiles as and when required
To deliver bespoke HR training sessions on best practice, policy, and processes
