Our client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a permanent basis. To be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the plant and equipment.

In this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out building maintenance repairs when needed.
• Working with the Plant Manager, create a routine maintenance schedule for all equipment in the Plant including air tools and handheld power tools.
• Fault finding on all equipment including electrical control panels and hydraulic systems.
• Work on Projects to help improve the safety and efficiency of the plant.
• Ensure electrical and mechanical safety procedures are followed in line with regulations
• Making quick decisions while complying with health and safety regulations
• Ensure health and safety compliance of all maintenance operations
• Maintain the maintenance area in a clean and orderly manner

In order to be successful as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you must:

• To have held a similar role for 3-5 years'
• Have an excellent level of verbal and written English as you will ordering parts from suppliers
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical applications
• Attention to detail
• Loyal and dependable
• Able to organise and prioritise own workload
